MEASURES: 123 inches x 79 ins, 313cm x 201cm

Beautiful and usual kente with alternating strips of the classic "Oyokoman" pattern and a solid blue background pattern. The alignment of the weft decoration creates strong visual movement in both directions with a striking overall impact. There is some good variation in the supplementary weft float motifs on the blue strips. Dates from mid C20th and is in excellent condition.
