Fine old Ewe mans' wrapper cloth an exceptional range of very neatly woven supplementary weft float motifs, both figurative and geometric, on a solid background. Unusually the colour range of the float motifs is limited to green, white and cream, while the border design adds a dark blue. At the centre the weft float text reads "Kwame Dedor" which would have been the name of the original owner who commissioned the cloth. In excellent condition, dates from circa 1930-50s.
