CODE#: AS278 PRICE US$685 MEASURES: 78 ins x 58 ins, 200cm x 148cm Another rarely seen mixed cloth from late C19th or early C20th that is a superb sampler of early aso oke design. In this case there are four different warp striped designs including a fine ikat pattern. Hand spun local indigo dyed thread is used in the weft and the bulk of the warp. As is usually the case with these early cloths there is some machine sewing of a couple of seams that have come loose but the cloth retains most of its original stitching. In excellent condition.
