An exceptionally fine example of the indigo warp striped tradition of aso oke that flourished in the early decades of the C20th alongside more elaborately patterned fabrics. Hand spun cotton throughout, with hand sewn seams, this cloth has a fine soft texture and is in excellent condition. Dates from circa 1900-30.
