Rare white hand spun cotton strip cloth agbada.  White robes are rarely found, despite their popularity with Muslim Yoruba chiefs in the early C20th. This example is in approx 3 inch width strips and has hand embroidery in the classic "two knives" pattern. Aside from a tiny (circa 1cm) spot front left this fine robe is in excellent condition. Dates from circa 1930s.
