A beautiful early C20th  agbada robe tailored from soft cloth woven from fine hand spun local beige wild silk "sanyan" and local hand spun white cotton. The extremely finely worked hand embroidery is in the classic "two knives" pattern. There is one small darned hole at the left edge of the embroidered spiral at the front (see detail) but otherwise the robe is in excellent condition.
